Fun weekend! 11 more days!!!

Its officially 11 days away... We are getting MARRIED in 11 days! I can hardly believe it. It really does not seem real... Wedding plans are starting to really come together & I am getting so excited! I still feel like there are a lot of little details to take care of but I am having fun putting it all together & I cant wait to see it all finished!

This past weekend was so wonderful! Braydon finally got to come down and visit! It had been 3 weeks, and I know that doesnt sound very long but trust me it feels like forever! It was so great being able to just hang out with him and my family for a couple of days and not think about anything else. Wedding plans and shopping were not on my mind and we just hung out. :)

FRIDAY:
-Marriage Liscense (check)
-Lunch at Red Robin (check)
-Register at Bed Bath and Beyond (check) (half check)
-Drive 1000 miles (check)
-Avoid a car crash by about..... 10 ft (check)
-Bowling and nachos (check)
-Beat Braydon in bowling (check) haha jk. :)
-Visit Ty & Q (check)
-Stay up way too late (check) but love every second of it ((double check))

SATURDAY:
-Sleep in (check)
-Mcdonalds breakfast at 10:55 (check) stomach ache (check)
-Do nothing all day and somehow still have so much fun :) (check)
-4:30 record videos... (check) barely.
-Play Quirkle with fam, while Brayd finishes up our wedding video (check) Thanks babe:)
-Caramel Apple gooey delicouse mess (check) yumyum!
-Late night #2 (check) (& still feeling the effects haha check!)

I had so much fun this weekend! Thanks so much for making that looooong boring drive even tho you have to do it 2 more times in the next 2 weeks.

christmas concert

Today is sunday, i didnt go to church. but i dont feel like i missed out, instead me and kelsey krista and my mom drove down to slc to go to the annual christmas concert in the conference center and it was soooo amazing!

on the way down i will admit i was kinda having a bad attitude when i heard that the tabernacle choir was going to be a large part of this concert......... im not gonna lie thier music kinda bores me. (well thats what i thought) so i was pretty surprised when the concert ended and i found myself thinking, "wow.... that was quick.... i think i may have really enjoyed that"

It was a lot of fun and the performance was beautiful they put so much time and effort into it and it showed. I love christmas time and all the fun things that come along with it, i love music and the power that it has. It can touch you like nothing else, if you let it...

Im so greatful for music and my family and my fiance Braydon, and for this christmas season, the gospel and how happy it makes me :) I truely am sooo blessed.

ENGAGED!

Its true! it finally happened and im soo excited! Feb 11th couldnt come fast enough! We got engaged on Oct 2nd! Here is a journal entry from the day after...

"I CANT BELIEVE IT!
folks. it happened...I AM ENGAGED!!! :) :) :) i cant believe it either. its sooo amazing and so surreal to me! I cant wait to be married to Braydon. It is going to be so wonderful and so much fun! He proposed last night at our place in Park City. I was NOT expecting it at all! I was so surprised, which i loved haha. we were downstairs cuddling/talking on the couch and I remembered a funny story my mom told me earlier that day.. it went like this... colton: "mom i really want nic and braydon to get married!" my mom: "haha why is that?" colton: "well because then i could play with braydon all the time!" My mom: "haha honey i think if they were to get married you would probably see them less.... " colton: "....oh:/. Never mind then, that wouldnt be fun!".... this then led us to a little conversation about marriage (just as planned:) haha) we were just lightly talking about it and i noticed Braydon started getting REALLY nervouse. like his heart was POUNDING in his chest and he looked so scared, i was like...  braydon whats wrong??? why are you getting so nervous, we can stop talking about this haha. and he kinda smiled and leaned over to kiss me, (score..!) and he grabbed my left hand and was kinda playing with it and slowly slipped a ring on my finger! :) we kept kissing for a sec then i was like omg! is this real? like are you really doing this? your not just messing with me??? .... i really couldnt decide. I thought it was his ctr ring and he was just messing around, (at this point i hadnt even looked at the ring yet) so i looked and sure enough it was a wedding ring!!!!!!! he said... i wouldnt joke about this :). and i could tell he was being serious. and then he said... nicole........ will. you. marry. me? I was so in shock ,i took a few seconds to respond, YES! i would love to! :) yayayayayayayayayayayayay!
