New York New York!

What a fun trip we got to go on last week! We left on wednesday and came home sunday night for a track meet in New York! We got to stay a block away from times square and had such a fun time exploring the city a little bit! :)Steve & Angie were able to fly down as well which made it even more fun!
We got to go see the 9/11 memorial which was really cool! & interesting, I cant imagine what it was like to be in New York at that time. It was really interesting to be at the exact spot where the buildings used to stand... and it made me feel so bad for those people that were trapped in the buildings and the brave firemen and police that risked their lives and gave their lives to help.
we also found the famous LOVE statue which was right across from our hotel :)
The track we ran at was really nice and it was a lot of fun to be able to run at the New Balance Track. I ran the 500 m dash for the first time and the 4x4 and Braydon pole vaulted. It was fun to watch all of the athletes compete because there were sooo many schools and so many amazing athletes there, it was cool!
& of course we went to times square, ate lots of yummy food, rode the stinky subways, walked out to the water to see the statue of liberty, went to church which was at the New York Temple, bought a $16 reeses, and saw central park!
We are SO grateful for the chance we had to go to NEW YORK! Thank you BYU track team. We had so much fun!:)
